because i have too much time on my hands lately, i read my lj entries from day one. and now i am having nostalgia attacks. i miss...

- hanging out with kathy g.
- watching a gig and going home late because of it
- watching a ciudad-sugarfree-itchyworms combo gig
- watching quark perform during a gig with his funny antics and lyrics
- seeing mark lavin's comments on my lj which don't make sense most of the time
- oh and hello actually seeing mark lavin na hindi work-related (and when he's not on sungit mode for real)
- bumping into marie marie and sunshine, and joan p.
- si zarah! girl i realized andaming beses mo pala akong inaya dito sa lj na lumabas and we never really went out na tayong dalawa lang. anuba?!
- having pictures taken to post on lj and how sometimes when things happen to you you say oh this is an lj moment and you post in on lj because you have time to post.
- reading and making cryptic posts. hahaha!
- watching filmfests!
- stalking
- my gig buddies. i lost them na kasi nga i dont watch gigs anymore.
- eating ruffles sour cream and cheddar
- timezoning. virtua tennis, dance revo, and that korean bishi bashi machine

Internationally famous cosmetic surgeon Dr. Beau Batoctol asks of his patients, seven individuals who will receive free make-overs at the first ever spa-beauty resort ever to be opened worldwide – the Skin-Deep Beauty Sanctuary.

When playwright Vincent deJesus came up with Skin-Deep, he injected, in true PETA fashion, not only fun and wit and music, but also underlying messages that will make the audience think…

What is true beauty? A face and body that is aesthetically pleasing? A personality that is confident? A soul that is kind? Have we, in this cut-throat world we live, taken for granted truth as beauty and beauty as truth?

The PETA Theater Appreciation Program

Two years ago, PETA started on a campaign that would make its performances more accessible to those who cannot afford to pay the full cost of a ticket to watch one.

Generous patrons gave financial support that subsidized our costs such that public school students, community-based organizations and out-of-school youth were able to watch performances for free or at very minimal fees.

A ticket costs P 300.00. You may choose to pay for a thousand tickets, a hundred, fifty, or even maybe just half a ticket... Your contribution can give our young people a few hours of a wondrous theater learning experience.

Doctor Beau Batoctol, an internationally famous Filipino cosmetic surgeon opens the world's first one-stop beauty resort here in the Philippines – the SKIN-DEEP BEAUTY SANCTUARY! And for its grand opening promo, seven lucky texters will win a chance to stay at Skin-Deep for a month and avail of all the beauty treatments, procedures and surgeries it has to offer – ABSOLUTELY FOR FREE!

The Lucky Makeover Seven – an obese female call-center agent, a troubled married couple, a male model wannabe, a flamboyant florist, an abused housewife burned beyond recognition and the reigning Miss Artificial Beauty – go through different miracle procedures hoping to become more aesthetically acceptable to the cruel world outside.

well some of the highlights. am a bit tinatamad to upload everything sa multiply. hehe. maybe a bit later. but for now. here...

that's jeremy (anna's french boyfriend)and jeff (my pseudo son).
i realized that they were hotties so i decided to have a picture taken with them. hahaha.

soapdish. first kerwin band to play at our festival concert. galing nila. look at jeff's hair. he was going for the champ-effect. sige lang. hehehe.

ciudad. with michelle and yeng, our new assistant account managers. and budding ciudad fans. oh and i think this is my first ciudad fan pic. and thank you for strawberry jam :)

itchyworms minus kelvin. may issue daw sila kay kelvin. hahaha! joke lang. jugs was testing my gullible-ity but jazz's dimple gave him away. i miss these guys hence the picture. matatagalan ulit ang moments like this.

it's been a while since i went on a girls night out. pigging out, gossiping, watching chick flicks, and shopping. well i've been shopping on my own these days. it's ok but sometimes you miss having someone to check out if the outfit suits you or if the color's not right. it get lonely out there sometimes. my mom's not here and i miss her. and the chicks are now busy with the son so they kinda have to always think about him first which is ok. so between dates and hangouts with the boyfriend and the father, i kinda miss hanging out with a girl. i miss having a girlfriend.

what is it with men and weight gain in women? men have no right to make being fat sound like it's a bad thing in women. i think having laman is beautiful. basta healthy pa din. and i'd rather be fat and happy than be thin and depressed (from missing chocolates, hotdog, and other wonderful food groups). so there.

have been taking art classes with brenda fajardo (aka manang dids) for two mondays now. since i've never had formal training in sketching or drawing it's kinda hard for me to let go of the "techniques" i've come up with for myself. like for example, i can't shade properly. shading properly means the dark areas and the light areas should be distinct but the transition shouldn't be apparent. and we had this exercise where we drew without outlining the object being drawn. and i had a hard time doing that because i love lines. im a line person! so there. it's hard. but im learning. and manang dids is a great teacher. and really the greatest technique for drawing (and shading) is just practice.

here's what i've done so far.

face the mirror and draw yourself assignment for art class

saturday. probably one of the most unusual days i've had. meeting up. travelling in separate train cars. confessions. and sad endings.

magnet gig. ciudad, fatal posporos. reunion of sorts. parang old school na hindi. parang everything is different yet so familiar. kahit kulang parang kumpleto na din. hahaha. labo. saya makasama mga batchmates ko sa panonood ng gig.
